I hate this. I hate that he had to imprint on a kid, that he had to imprint on Bella’s kid at that, I hate that Edward dares to call him “son” like he’s some degraded pathetic child, I hate how Bella treated him like shit after she turned, how she thought he wouldn’t be good enough for her daughter when he was worth more than all of them together. And I hate how he seemed to have forgotten about his love for Bella, just like that, problem solved, when Sam never stopped loving Leah in spite of his imprint.

It’s plain cruel, that’s what it is. “insanity” pretty much nails it.

This why I think SM was on crack when she wrote this book or was reading too much fanfic….Jake got a fucked up ending and his character changed drastically. I will never think imprinting as a good thing., especially her reasoning behind it. It makes no sense at all.
